Art Deco Style Engagement Ring

This Art Deco inspired engagement ring features a round brilliant cut as the principle stone with a single baguette cut diamond on each shoulder. The central diamond is housed in a well proportioned six claw setting featuring pierced love heart daylight windows.

Metal: 18ct white gold.

Marks: 750 London 1992.

Measurements: 6.5mm at its widest and rises nearly 7mm from the finger. The baguette diamond set shoulders measure 2mm wide and run 5mm away from the central setting. The total spread across the finger is 15.5mm.

Stones: Central Brilliant cut diamond approximately 0.95ct. Each baguette cut diamond weighs approximately 0.05ct. Total diamond weight approximately 1.05ct. The central diamond really should be classed as an I1 stone. There is a natural inclusion right under the table which is visible with the naked eye and despite being the only inclusion really visible in the diamond, it would traditionally be classified as an I stone. This is a shame though because the stone is extremely lively and otherwise pretty clean. Annoying when modern day ‘salt and pepper’ diamond which are riddled with inclusions can receive the same clarity grading as this gorgeous stone. Clarity I1. Colour G/H.

Weight: 3.15 grams.

Condition: Excellent. We have re-build the shank of this ring meaning the band is a uniformed width and profile right the way around the finger.
