Single 9ct & Silver Diamond Stud Earring

This is a fine example of gold-smithing at it’s best. This lovely piece of vintage jewellery originally started life as a diamond set tiara which was a family inheritance and was no longer needed.

We decided to make some diamond studs from the tiara and fashion the piece into more engaging pieces that would be used more in everyday life.

This is one of three diamond we have made into single studs, all of different sizes. This one is the smallest of the three.

Metal: 9ct gold & silver.

Marks: Unmarked. Tests 9ct & silver.

Stones: Old-cut diamond. 0.16ct. Colour HI. Clarity SI.

Measurements: The head of the stud has a diameter of 4.5mm. When worn in the ear, the diamond rises to approximately 5.3mm from the lobe.

Weight: 0.54 grams.

Condition: Excellent.
