1.48ct Diamond Engagement Ring - RESERVED

A traditional engagement ring being a solitaire diamond in a claw setting coming from knife edge shoulders. This particular diamond came to us in a very modern 18ct white gold mount set with only four very flimsy claws. Originally purchased in New York, the diamond is accompanied with a certificate showing it to be exactly 1.48ct which we have confirmed having unset the stone and remounting it in this far more wearable 18ct yellow gold mount. As is the norm, the setting is white gold, in this case an 18ct white gold eight claw traditional rex setting.

Metal: 18ct yellow and white gold.

Marks: FJZ 750 Birmingham. This is our hallmark.

Measurements: The setting measures a maximum 8.5mm from outside or the claw to outside of the opposite claw. The table of the diamond rises 6mm from the finger. Knife edge shoulders widening to 2.5mm at the back of the finger.

Stones: Modern Brilliant cut diamond 1.48ct. Colour H. Clarity Si2.

Weight: 3.67 grams.

Condition: Excellent. This is a brand new ring using a reclaimed diamond taken from another ring.
