Vintage 18ct sapphire & diamond cluster ring

This is a great looking sapphire and diamond cluster ring typical of the 1960s in both design and manufacture. The scalloped yellow gold base to the cluster gives superb contrast to the white gold triangular sections set with diamonds and featuring a millgrain boarder. These individual settings are separate from one another and feature an eight cut diamond in each one. The claw set sapphire exhibits a lovely mid to dark blue colour and has clearly seen natural growth lines confirming a natural stone rather than synthetic which we used frequently throughout the 20th century.
