Victorian 12ct pearl and gemstone ring
A superb example of Victorian jewellery in excellent condition. The engraving that encompasses this ring is what really makers it special as well as the hallmark.

The seed pearls are set between the central red and outer blue coloured stones which we are assessing as being garnet topped doublets. We have arrived at this conclusion thanks to small air bubbles just below the surface of the stones. These usually arise thanks to the cement holding the doublet together which also gives the stones their colour.
6.8mm at its widest. The shoulders flare out 5.8mm and the ring narrows to 2.5mm.
Excellent. The engraving which flows all the way around the ring is in exceptional condition as is the hallmark. This ring can hardly have been worn in the past 150+ years.
