Vintage Illusions Diamond Set Ring

A great looking vintage illusions ring. The centre diamond is set in what we call an illusions setting where the heavy boarder makes the diamond look a bit larger than it actually down. The shoulders also could be considered illusion settings where they have been chased out leaving small blank sections where diamonds would traditionally be set. This has been done to give the impression of stones on the shoulders.

Metal: 18ct yellow gold with platinum shoulders and setting.

Marks: 18ct platinum.

Stones: Brilliant cut diamonds approximately 0.23ct. Colour H/I. Clarity Si.

Measurements: 6mm at its widest outside measurement being the setting. 5.5mm shoulders at their widest which narrow to 2.6mm. 2.2mm D shape shank at the back of the finger.

Weight: 2.6 grams.

Condition: Excellent.
