Previously a brooch, we tried to keep this original but brooches are a hard sell these days. The Victorians were prolific with their conversions and would regularly ‘upcycle’ outdated Georgian jewellery into more suitable items for the era. I have no real problem with doing this with Victorian pieces as I would sooner see a item being put into use rather than sitting in a safe somewhere. So long as the work is completed to a high standard we consider conversion jobs like this to be entirely acceptable. All work carried out has been completed in our on-site workshop. Although pictured on a chain, this is not included. We do have a small range of chain listed on the website but please feel free to get in contact to discuss chain in greater detail.
