1930s Emerald and Diamond necklet

£6,500.00

A fantastic diamond and emerald set necklet circa 1930s crafted in 18ct white gold. This is one which we acquired through the trade so we know nothing of it’s past life in regards to who owned it but I can only imagine the wonderful places it has seen. A standout item of fine jewellery it is set with 2.62ct of diamond. Old cuts in the pendant with modern brilliant cuts bezel set in the necklace. The emerald is the most fabulous colour of deep green and exhibits small typical inclusions seen in natural stones of the era. This is most definitely a piece for those big events and rather than picking an item of jewellery to be worn with a dress, you should be picking the dress to wear with this necklace. The ribbon is on a fixed diamond set chain with the floral dropper articulated and then the emerald pear shape dropper individually articulated giving these two aspects of the necklet a lovely freedom of movement.
