Vintage Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring
An elegant cluster ring of refined design, set with sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, finely crafted in 18ct white gold and platinum, circa 1930s. The head of the ring is arranged in a symmetrical diamond-shaped formation, centring on an oval sapphire framed by four additional oval sapphires and four brilliant-cut diamonds. The design reflects the distinctive aesthetic and meticulous craftsmanship characteristic of the period.
Metal: 18ct white gold and platinum.
Marks: R.N. 18ct & PLAT.
Measurements: The head of the ring measures 16.5mm x 19.3mm. The shank measures 2mm wide.
Stones: Central oval sapphire. The central stone has a very minor chip to the edge, visible only under magnification. Four oval sapphires on the outside, possibly synthetic. Four brilliant-cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.91ct. Colour grading: J/K. Clarity: VS2 and SI2.
Weight: 4.63 grams.
