Antique 9ct Engraved Memorial Heart Padlock

A 9ct gold heart-shaped padlock, engraved with the poignant tribute:

‘ In loving memory of our darling Frankie, killed in France Oct 11th 1918. ’

Despite our efforts to uncover more about Frankie and the story behind this touching inscription, we have not been able to trace any further details.
