1914 Diamond-Set Full Sovereign
This exceptional piece forms part of our curated collection of antique items enhanced with gemstones. An original 1914 full gold sovereign, it has been elegantly set with diamonds from our own collection in a refined star-shaped design. In line with our previous diamond-set T-bars and heart padlocks, this pendant reflects the historical significance of the original piece while thoughtfully adapting it for contemporary appeal.
Metal: 22ct gold full sovereign on a 9ct rose gold mount.
Marks: Sovereign dated 1914. No marks on the mount. XRF tested as 9ct gold.
Measurements: Diameter of 21.8mm. Including the scroll top, the total height is 29.3mm.
Stones: Nine brilliant-cut diamonds with a total carat weight of 0.14ct. Both the sovereign and the diamonds were sourced from our own collection and sent to be set together. As the diamonds were unset at the time, we were able to determine their precise weight before setting.
Condition: Excellent.
For all our non-hallmarked items, we use an XRF gun to accurately determine the metal composition of each piece of jewellery.
