18ct and Platinum Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring

An elegant Art Deco cluster ring dating from the mid-1920s to 1930s, crafted in 18ct white gold and platinum. It features a deep blue sapphire set in a rub-over setting, surrounded by diamonds.

Metal: 18ct white gold and platinum.

Marks: Stamped 18ct.

Measurements: 12.2mm by 11.2mm. The shank measures 2.3mm wide.

Stones: Oval sapphire in a rub-over setting, showing some visible wear, which is to be expected given its age. Surrounding the sapphire are mostly old-cut diamonds, with one eight-cut stone, most likely a replacement. Each diamond weighs approximately 0.03ct, with a total estimated diamond weight of 0.36ct

Weight: 4.27 grams.
