HOW IT WORKS

The things we sell: 

The vast majority of items for sale on this site are pre-owned and are mostly either antique or vintage, many of them are very mature in their years. As such they may show some evidence of their previous owners. We promise to make you aware of all of these unique features in the condition section of the description as well as to show them clearly in the photographs. We ask that you study the pictures closely before purchasing. If however you are not entirely happy with your purchase we are happy to offer a full refund upon safe return of the item within the terms of the returns section below. Slight chips and nicks on stone facets, worn edges to facets, slightly unmatched pearls, coral, turquoise and so on are all part and parcel of the nature of the items of jewellery we sell. We have operated a full retail premises in the heart of Norwich since the 1950's so please do come in and try before you buy.

Returns:

 

You must make us aware if you are not entirely happy within 24 hours of receiving the item. Please email us immediately and tell us why you wish to return the item. Details will be given as how to go about this with your purchase. We will endeavour to reply within 1 working day. After that you must return the item within 2 working days unless otherwise agreed. After that we cannot offer a full refund. Any item that has been altered or personalised, we will be unable to offer a full refund. Retuned items must be sent in a secure and insured manor of which you will be responsible for, we will not be able to reimburse this cost. Once the item has been received and assessed that it is in the same condition as it went out to you, then we will process the refund as appropriate within 24 hours. 

 

Things to consider: 

 

We do have to make you aware that not all items we sell will be fit for everyday use. When the majority of items we sell were originally made, they would have been cherished and treated with the upmost respect. Therefore we suggest giving a bit of thought to the purpose you wish to buy the jewellery for. Every item gets a thorough assessment before we list them. We will not sell anything that we do not think is fit for sale and condition will be reflected in the price. Some rings may be getting thin at the back of the shank, we do not think this should be a death sentence for the item however and we refuse to scrap items and melt them down just because they are old and a bit worn, they could have may years more wear if looked after.
