Yellow sapphire and diamond cluster ring – RESERVED

This yellow sapphire is a delight to look at, a colour that we would call canary yellow, usually reserved as a colour description of yellow diamonds, we think it is the best term to describe this particular stone. The ring itself is of typical 1960s handmade manufacture featuring platinum settings mounted on an 18ct yellow gold shank. A wonderful stand along piece or an alternative to the modern engagement ring. As with all antique and vintage jewellery we ask that you be mindful in the circumstance you wear your jewellery. Rings such as this would not take kindly to being worn while at the gym or doing the garden. When treated with love and respect they will last a couple of lifetimes.

Excellent. The sapphire does exhibit some wear to the facets and slight knicks to the girdle. We suspect it was previously used in a mother piece of jewellery and recycled into this bespoke ring. Condition is always taken into account when pricing.
