Silver and Amber Pendant

Here is a silver set pendant with natural baltic amber that has been hardened. The inclusion in this amber gemstone we believe to be a flying insect. 

This insect has been entombed into the thee resin and over time has hardened into a material called Copal. Through time the Copal becomes buried and over serval millions of years slowly turns into what we know as Amber.
