Round vintage diamond cluster ring

A superb vintage cluster ring using antique diamonds. The ring was handmade circa 1950s / 60s using 14ct yellow gold with what we are assuming is a platinum, slightly domed, top housing the diamonds. It is typical of the articles being made during the time after the second world war of slow economic recovery and into the 1960s. The diamonds are what we would now called ‘reclaimed’ as they are old cuts, most likely cut and polished during the Victorian era. Totalling just over the 1ct it is a superb looking ring and one that we are using as a template to create a couple of our own in house manufactured rings using our own loose ‘reclaimed’ unmounted old cut diamonds.
