Citrine and turquoise ring

£125.00

A sweet little tiny 9ct gold ring which does really show its age. This ring is dated 1924 and has seen all those years. The ring looks older than it actually is as these designs and proportions were very popular in the mid-Victorian era.

SKU: E632-22 Category:
Metal:
9ct gold.
Marks:
Hallmarked 9ct Birmingham 1924/25.
Stones:
Citrine and turquoise. The turquoise stones are inevitably antique glass replicas. Usually people tend to get their backs up when I tell them they have glass stones in their antique jewellery but there is nothing wrong with these being used at the time.
Measurements:
8mm wide spreading 14.5mm across the finger with a rise of 3mm. The back of the ring is narrow at 1.6mm but it does bear the original hallmark.
Weight:
1 gram.
Condition:
This ring has seen decades worth of wear. The condition is far from excellent but it is commensurate with the age of the ring and expected from what would have been a delicate ring when it was new.
Finger size:
UK N - US 6 1/2.
