Antique diamond three stone ring – SOLD

A jewellers staple, the three stone diamond ring. This antique three stone ring features old cut diamonds circa mid Victorian era. The ring is however slightly later and likely made during the two world wars circa 1920 / 30. Made in platinum throughout each diamond is secured at eight points of contact in a classic rex setting.

Thee natural antique old cut diamonds, all of which are oval cushiony cuts. Approximate weight and grading assessed as 0.34ct H/I Si2 - 0.84ct K/L Vs - 0.45ct I/J Vs. A typical conglomeration of antique stones ‘repurposed’ into a more contemporary style at the time. Total diamond weight approximately 1.63ct.
Measurements:
6.5mm wide spreading 15.5mm across the finger. Thanks to the tall proportions of these old cut stones the elevation of the ring is 5mm.

Condition:
Excellent. Typical facet Knicks to the diamonds as seen in very old tall cut proportions.
