18ct gold.
There is a slight story behind these marks. The original hallmark for London 1918 has lost its 18ct mark but the assay office for London and date letter for 1918 are present. At some time in it’s long life someone has taken upon themselves to re-hallmark it to confirm the standard of gold hence there is a modern mark applied.
The centre stone is an old-brilliant cushion cut diamond approximately 0.21ct. Two sapphire stones either side of the diamond each approximately 0.10ct, totalling 0.20ct.
The cross-over part of the ring measures 6.8mm by 10mm. When worm, the ring rises 4mm proud. The shank measures 1.8mm wide.
