Antique 18ct Diamond & Ruby Gypsy Ring – SOLD

£520.00

A fantastic example of a gypsy ring set with an old-cut diamond and a ruby either side. Modelled in 18ct yellow gold the ring has most likely had a new shank applied as means of building the ring up at the back of the finger. This is very common for rings of this age as this would have originated from the Victorian era so regrettably the hallmark has been lost. We do see this time and time again but it should not mean the ring simply gets scrapped. There is now no reason this ring will not last another 100 years.
