A superb example of a gentlemen’s Masonic signet ring with carved stone centre piece. Crafted using 9ct gold with the masonic emblem of the iconic square and compass engraved in white agate. The ring features a bear claw design to the shoulders giving a really strong presence to the ring. Extremely unique we have not had the please of owning a better looking masonic ring. The engraving has been expertly carved so that it penetrates the white band revealing the red carnelian beneath giving spectacular depth to the stone.

375. Hallmarked in Birmingham in either 1948 / 1949. The hallmark has faded but we are pretty certain as to its age and origin.
Stones:
Agate. The stone is classic banded agate which if the red section were showing we would be describing it as carnelian. The white top to this stone is a result of prevision cutting straight through a white band found internally in the agate. The engraving pierces the white band to reveal the maroon carnelian colour.
Measurements:
The head of the ring measures 16.5mm x 14.8mm and stands 3.8mm proud of the finger. The shank measures 10mm at the shoulders and tapers down to 3mm.

6.42 grams.
