1950s 9ct Gold, Pearl & Diamond Bracelet – SOLD

A truly enchanting ladies 9ct white gold, diamond & pearl bracelet dating back to the 1950s. Made by a company called Britannic, famous for their making of watch straps and in particular, expanding watch straps popular among the ladies.
This particular bracelet is a prime example of that design featuring an expanding watch strap design that can easily go over and then securely fashioned on the wrist.
The bracelet features a beautiful floral formation of diamonds totaling approximately 1.59ct which surround three cultured pearls as the main attraction for this bracelet to form three flowers.

Hallmarked in London 1955 / 1956. Stamped 9ct. Engraved with the makers name ‘britannic’.
Three cultured pearls. Mixture of old-cut diamonds and rose-cut diamonds with a carat weight of between 0.07ct & 0.24ct. We have estimated the approximate total carat weight to be 1.59ct.
The length of the bracelet is approximately seven inches long with an expanding strap made using springs. It can be stretch over the hand to about eight inches. The back of the bracelet is approximately 3.5mm wide. The head of the bracelet which features diamonds and pearls stretches across the wrist to approximately 68mm wide. The centre pearl and diamond formation is the widest part of the bracelet at approximately 10.7mm wide.
