18ct ‘Moi et Toi’ Diamond Ring – SOLD

A striking ‘Moi et Toi’ Art Deco ring, the name being of French descent and translated to mean ‘me and you’.

Moi et Toi refers to a ring with two gemstones that sit above or side by side one another symbolising two souls becoming one. This was a very popular design for an engagement ring in the 19th century and would make a stunning piece to add a collection or for an engagement. This beautiful ring is set with a total of fourteen diamonds and a total carat weight of 2.32ct.

This particular ring is of the 1920s – 1930s origin and typically English manufacture.

Two modern brilliant-cut diamonds both in a seven claw setting from North to South. The top is 1.10ct Si2 colour G - Certification number: 990504. The bottom is 1.10ct Si2 - colour F - Certification number: 990505. The shank is set with twelve eight-cut diamonds each approximately 0.01ct totalling 0.12ct.
The north to south measurement is 16.5mm and approximately . The shank measures 1.4mm wide.
