18ct Gold Ruby & Diamond Ring – SOLD
A wonderful example of a mid 20th century diamond and ruby target ring. Featuring decorative scroll work to the outside of the ring we are dating this to after the second world war despite looking very much like those made in the 1920s and 30s.
Metal:
18ct gold.
Marks:
Unmarked. Tests indicate 18ct gold.
Stones:
There are eleven diamonds with an approximately weight of 0.20ct, and fifteen synthetic ruby gemstones around the edge. The central cluster of diamonds are made up of old cut diamonds.
Measurements:
11.5mm in diameter. 1.5mm diamond set shoulders narrowing slightly to 1.2mm at the back of the finger.
Weight:
2.80 grams.

Excellent.
