Victorian Old Cut Diamond Ring
Description: A typical Victorian carved half hoop style ring, these were incredibly popular in their day and remain a jewellers staple. Many now are being broken down and the old cut diamonds used elsewhere - this however has the full London hallmark and date letter present and is not thin beyond repair like many others.
Metal: 18ct yellow gold.
Marks: Full London hallmark 1902.
Stones: Five old cut diamonds graduating from the centre. Diamond approximate sizes:
0.03ct - 0.05ct - 0.15ct - 0.04ct - 0.03ct overall total approximate weight 0.30ct.
Measurements: 5.3mm at its widest. 3.3mm carved shoulders tapering away to 2mm D shape shank at the back of the finger.
