Victorian Diamond & Pearl Ring - SOLD
Description: Modelled in 18ct gold this Victorian ring is in wonderful condition given its age. Fully hallmarked for 1883 this ring has not seen much use. It is not an everyday ring that is for sure. Set with pearls this ring should be cherished and used on a formal basis rather than a casual dress ring to wear while doing the household chores.
Metal: 18ct yellow gold.
Marks: Hallmarked Birmingham 1883.
Stones: Set with half pearls, some replacements and three old cut diamonds totalling 0.58ct approximately.
Measurements: The head measures 11mm side with a 21mm spread across the finger. 6mm at the shoulders tapering to 2.5mm at the back of the shank.
Weight: 6.5 grams.
Finger size: P.5.
Condition: Condition is good however there have been what we suspect some replacement pearls. The nature of the ring is for formal use and if it is not looked after the pearls (as with any pearl set ring) may start to come loose. This is no big deal however as they can be easily replaced - this should not be an excuse for ill treatment however.
