Victorian 18ct cluster ring
Description: A truly fine example of a Victorian diamond cluster ring. The diamonds set in this ring were most likely cut a long time before this ring was made. The Victorians did a lot of remodelling during their time and this is probably the case here. The centre diamond is of an oval shape while the others are all of a square (ish) irregular cushion shape.
Metal: 18ct gold.
Marks: B.H 18ct
Stones: Diamonds. Now, due to the irregularity of the cutting this is a particularly hard one to estimate total diamond weight. It is our expert opinion that the overall diamond weight is approximately somewhere between 0.60ct and 0.80ct.
Measurements: Approximately 10mm at its widest point at the head. The shank is 2mm.
Finger size: R
Condition: Excellent. We have not polished the ring so it does show signs of being worn. It can be fully polished if requested which will bring it up to a mirror finish.
