Smokey Citrine Vintage Ring - RESERVED
Description: This vintage 1970s gemstone ring is modelled in 9ct yellow gold and features a lovely oval facetted citrine. Citrine is a yellow variety of quartz. This particular stone has a slight dusty colour to it getting towards a smokey quartz so for the purpose of description I am going to call it a smokey citrine.
Metal: 9ct yellow gold.
Marks: Hallmarked HJ 9ct Birmingham 1978.
Stones: Smokey citrine. The crystal is not brown enough to warrant a smokey quartz description and still displays good yellow colour but we do not feel it a strong enough colour to simply call it citrine. Hence the smokey citrine crossover description.
Measurements: The outside measurements of the head are 15.5mm x 13.5mm. 1.5mm D hasp shank.
Weight: 3 grams.
Finger size: M.5.
Condition: Excellent condition.
