Art Deco Aquamarine & Diamond Ring - SOLD
Description: This fabulous architectural design ring is straight out of the art deco period. Boasting a light blue aquamarine centre stone weighting approximately 4.89 carat in a raised pierced pillar gallery with platinum double claws. Of continental origins this is a truly statement piece yet remains subtle.
Metal: 18ct yellow gold and Platinum.
Marks: Stamped 18ct.
Stones: Stepped cut aquamarine of light blues colour approximately 4.98ct. Either side are two 0.03ct brilliant cut diamonds totalling 0.12ct overall.
Measurements: The aquamarine measures 11.5mm x 10mm. The ring stands a approximately 6.5mm off the finger. 6mm wide shoulders where the diamonds are set tapering away to 2.2mm at the back of the shank.
Weight: 6.05 grams.
Finger size: M.
Condition: Slight signs of use and wear at the corners of the facets on the aquamarine but short of that in wonderful condition. Being a reasonably soft stone you would expect this from and aquamarine of this age.
