1ct Cushion Cut Diamond Engagement Ring
Description: A superb ring and a pleasure to offer it up for sale. An old cushion cut diamond, most likely cut during the Victorian era, mounted in a hand made platinum 8 claw setting and modelled in 18ct gold, with a slight rose tint to the metal. The ring itself is likely mid last century but making use of an older diamond.
Metal: 18ct gold with a slight rose colour. Platinum setting.
Marks: 18ct PLAT.
Stones: An old cushion cut diamond weighing approximately 1ct. Assessed as colour I with a good VS clarity grading.
Measurements: The very outside measurement of the widest part of the ring being the setting measures 6.5mm. The diamond stands 6mm proud of the finger. Knife edge shoulders widening to a 2mm D shape shank.
Weight: 2.5 grams.
Finger size: M 1/2.
