18ct & Platinum Five Stone Vintage
Description: What is likely an entirely hand made item this ring is part of our recent ‘Lost Stock’ collection. A tall, tapering, platinum setting featuring five 8-cut diamonds makes this a one off piece. Despite being vintage this simple little ring would look right at home with other pieces of contemporary design. Being hand made it has clear signs of it’s manufacture. Please see images and Condition.

‘The Lost Stock’ as we are calling it, was a collection of rings that were forgotten about. Over-stock put at the back of the safe decades ago and lost to time as fashions changed. You will not find such a collection of vintage rings in this ex-display condition anywhere. All hand made in the 50’s and a couple most likely early 1960’s they are mainly all 18ct yellow gold and platinum. Un-hallmarked being made prior to 1975 they are set with diamonds and coloured gemstones of which some are synthetic. This is totally right for the age and before attitudes to synthetic stones changed this was the norm. They were not described as synthetic…they were simply ruby, sapphire or emerald. Please pay close attention to the individual descriptions for each item as they will all differ.
