18ct Gold 5 Stone Diamond Ring
This ring features five old cut diamonds totalling over three quarters of a carat, graduating from the centre stone outwards. The diamonds have been re-set in a modern yellow and white gold mount but are no doubt of Victorian origins.
Metal: 18ct yellow and white gold.
Marks: Full modern hallmark CPM 18ct 2002.
Stones: The diamonds total 0.76ct approximately. The centre stone measures approximately 0.30ct, then they step down to approximately 0.15ct each with two 0.08ct diamonds either side. We have assessed the diamonds as being J/K colour and Si2 clarity. Some of the diamonds exhibit slight chips and knicks.
Measurements: The centre setting is just shy of 5mm at it’s widest measurement and stands approximately 3.5mm proud of the finger. The shanks is 2.5mm wide and D shape profile.
Weight: 3.6 grams.
Finger size: N 1/2.
Condition: The centre rubover setting is slightly off round but this is thanks to the shape of the diamond. Being that is is a modern mount the ring is in excellent condition.
